WATCH: Goodbye Darrell Day – for now

The jolly walker will be out of action for the next six months.

JOLLY walker, Darrell Day, bid farewell to the South Coast on Monday this week.

But he will be back towards the end of the year.

He leaves tomorrow (Wednesday) on a six-month holiday to England to visit his son and then on to see his daughter in Canada.

The team from Harvey World Travel, Shelly Beach, joined Darrell to say goodbye to the man who ‘makes everyone’s day’.

Harvey World organised Darrell’s travelling arrangements and wanted to let motorists know not to panic if they didn’t see cheerful Darrell every morning.
