Creston celebrates Africa Day

Gareth Bishop has been awarded the KZN Senior Rural Cricket Player of the 2015/2016 season.

AFRICA Day was celebrated in fine style by pupils of Creston College last Wednesday. They performed to a packed audience in the school hall with song, dance, poetry and sketches. Africa Day is the annual commemoration of the 1963 founding of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), presently recognised as the Africa Union (AU). African Union, comprising 53 member states, has united the continent of Africa to collectively address the challenges it faced, such as armed conflict, climate change and poverty. Special thanks go to Tshepo Oliphant and Karen Marx for all their hard work and dedication.

Creston College is proud to announce that Gareth Bishop has been awarded the KZN Senior Rural Cricket Player of the 2015/2016 season. Congratulations to Tannah Caldwell for being selected for the KZN Coastals U14B team and Duncan Vroom, who was selected for the SKZN U17 team that played an Indian touring side last Sunday. This is most impressive as Duncan is still U15.
