CRESTON’S art exhibition takes place in the school hall on June 21 and 22 and will showcase the creative minds of pupils. The exhibition will be open to parents, the public and invited schools on June 22 from 2.30 to 6pm. Marimba bands will entertain and refreshments will be served.
Pre-primary pupils held a dress up day dedicated to Dr Seuss last Friday. There were many mischievous ‘Things 1 and 2’, an impressive array of ‘Hats and Cats’ and ‘Green Eggs and Ham’. Sincere thanks to the parent body for creating impressive costumes and joining in the fun. Junior Primary’s theme was ‘Your favourite book character’ and once again the costumes were outstanding. Teachers almost stole the show by dressing up as characters from ‘The Wizard of Oz’.
Congratulations to Claudine du Plessis for being selected for the KZN U17 netball team. Claudine will attend the Commonwealth Games training and a national team tournament.
