Exco member dies

HIBISCUS Coast Municipality says it is saddened by the death of executive council member,  Piet Rademeyer, who was also chairman of the corporate services portfolio committee.

Mr Rademeyer, one of the longest serving councillors at the municipality, died last Friday after a long illness.

Mayor, Nomusa Mqwebu has also sent her deepest condolences to his family, friends and fellow councillors.

“A memorial service will be held this week. A public announcement will be made in due course,” said HCM spokesman, Simon Soboyisa.
