RA ENGAR’S grade 1 pupils were recently tasked with constructing houses from recyclable materials as part of their creative arts assessment for term two.
Members of the Port Shepstone Child Welfare Society visited the school recently to address grades 4 and 5 pupils on the welfare’s role in providing assistance and support to children in need, especially those affected by abuse and neglect. They listened intently as Nitia Nagia and Sifundo Nzama shared their life experiences and highlighted the need for them to be vigilant by reporting any form of abuse to someone they trust.
At the end of the presentation, everyone received a tasty treat, generously served by society members. The principal, staff and pupils express their gratitude for this inspirational presentation.
