SHEPPIE High’s visual art pupils have been hard at work with preliminary practical examinations. The annual matric art exhibition opens to the public on Friday, July 29, and Monday, August 1, from 2.45pm.
The schools’ interprovincial sports tournament took place during the holidays and PSHS was well represented. Zola Nompuku played for the KZN U18A hockey team and was also selected for the U17 SA schools’ team. Zama Ngubane and Yanga Mhatu played for the KZN U14A hockey team.
Sibahhle Thabede played for the KZN U18A netball team and was chosen as vice-captain. Khanya Nyide played for the U16A KZN team. Westley Nyman, Wade Visser and Jason Olivier represented SKZN at the Reitz U19 Rugby Festival. Congratulations to Jason Olivier, who was selected for the SA U19 Platteland squad.
