CRESTON College executive headmaster Noel Coetzee will host a ‘Meet and Greet’ and open day for grades 1 to 11 every Saturday morning in the school hall, commencing next Saturday (13th) from 9 to 10am.

After the recent storms, gr 5V pupils have been repairing the gardens which form part of a class project called ‘adopt-a-block’. Pupils each get a retaining block to fill with plants and maintain for the year. Before the inclement weather, the gardens attracted many birds and Levi Wilcox installed a wonderful wooden bird feeder.
Last Monday, the college senior debating team won its league against Suid-Natal High. Best speaker was Fezeka Nzama. The motion ‘This house believes that downloading music without permission is morally equivalent to theft’ was proposed by HSN and Creston debaters had to oppose, which they did emphatically to emerge outright winners. The next debate will be against Sheppie High’s Senior A team.
