Islamic School enjoys a busy weekend

Everyone enjoyed a morning of fun, exercise and socialising.

ISLAMIC School held a fun-filled and exciting weekend. Last Saturday morning staff welcomed prospective pupils and parents who were keen to know more about the school. Spectators made their way to the AstroTurf arena in the evening to watch fathers and sons take part in friendly soccer and cricket matches. Early on Sunday morning, about 250 energetic walkers took to the AstroTrack for a women’s fun walk. A collective total of 1 120km was logged and each entrant was presented with a goodie bag worth approximately R400.

Registered workers anxiously waited for the lucky draws and 15 winners received gifts and vouchers. A range of culinary treats were on sale throughout the event. The school thanks everyone who made the day a success.
