PSSP learns how to make a difference

Applications for 2017 gr 4 admissions are open and forms are available at the reception office.

PSSP welcomed Pastor Bongani Khumalo as guest speaker at the junior assembly last Friday. Centred on Mandela Day, Ps Khumalo explained the significance of the day and shared ideas about how to contribute meaningfully to making a difference in people’s lives, as former president Nelson Mandela aspired to do.

World Scout Scarf Day is observed on August 1 and last Friday, pupils belonging to the organisation wore special uniforms to create more awareness of Guiding and Scouting. In her address at junior assembly last week, Jolene Evans of Girl Guides explained the significance of the day and what the organisation offered.

Applications for 2017 gr 4 admissions are open and forms are available at the reception office. Due to inclement weather, kindly note the following important changes to the term plan: Interhouse cross-country – August 12; Interhouse athletics – September 1; gr 4 educational outing – September 5 to 7; gr 7 market day – September 8.
