PORT Edward Primary gr 4 pupils who are currently learning about different cultural foods in life skills, had a ‘Spaghetti Cook-Off’ last Friday. They spent the morning cooking the most delicious spaghetti bolognaise, which was enjoyed by everyone. Staff members were especially impressed with the cooking skills, organisation and impressive table settings.
Gr 7 pupils had an opportunity to visit Fiddlesticks Farm last Friday. They learned the importance of recycling and reusing waste materials, plant growth and sustainable living, which falls into their natural science and creative arts curriculum. Pupils thoroughly enjoyed putting theory into practice.
Congratulations to Boy-Boy Mkhohlwa for being selected for the U15 Youth Duikers rugby team and well done to Rayne Mendez, who has been selected for the KZN U13 girls’ cricket squad. Rayne Mendez and Britney van den Heever have also been selected for the U15 SKZN girls’ cricket team.
