PSSP gives generously

Monitors for the remainder of the year were recently inducted at a special assembly.

PSSP’s gr 6 pupils and teachers recently initiated a charity drive by collecting toys, baby food and other accessories for donation to the Doxa Umephi Baby Home in Port Shepstone. Founded in 2008, the home relies on community donations and representatives Joeline Rosslee and Dorah Cele were invited to a special assembly for the handover.

A team of 14 runners took part in the interschool cross-country event hosted at Creston recently. Runners thoroughly enjoyed the challenging course which tested endurance and skill. The turnout at the interhouse cross-country held at the school last Friday was once again encouraging and most pupils took part to earn house points. Marlin won, followed by Barracuda and Garrick. Well done to the cross-country team which took part in the district trials held at Gamalakhe last Thursday.
