PORT Shepstone Islamic School is proud to announce that it has been formally accredited for seven years by UMALUSI after the school complied with vigorous evaluation and verification processes successfully. This makes the school the only independent one in the Ugu district to receive this licence to provide the CAPS curriculum reading to NSC for grades 1 to 12.
Grandparents felt really special at the annual Grandparents’ Day hosted by gr 8 pupils. Teacher Rabia Bux and her team of pupils decorated the hall beautifully. Pupils shared special messages with their grandparents, who in turn related nostalgic and enthralling stories about their grandchildren. Taking part in children’s games like ‘pass the parcel’ made the seniors feel young again. After enjoying delicious breyani and treats, each grandparent received a special gift bag.
The school’s U15 and U17 soccer teams took part in the AMS Provincial Soccer Tournament in Durban last week.
