PSSP takes Arbor Month seriously

The school was delighted with the generous donation of young saplings for planting in the school grounds.

WITH spring fast approaching, Port Shepstone Senior Primary held a special assembly last Friday, which focused on the significance of Spring Day and Arbor Month and is highlighted during September. Representative from Ugu District Municipality’s Environmental Department, Khetiwe Dlamini was the guest speaker and she reminded pupils of the importance of caring for the environment and more especially, the need to care for plant life. The school would like to thank Ugu for the kind donation of saplings for planting in the school grounds.

The U13 soccer boys took part in the Strini Moodley Junior Soccer Tournament last Saturday. The team put on an impressive performance and advanced to the finals, but lost to Jai Hind Primary in a penalty shootout. Well done to the boys for their excellent team spirit which prevailed throughout the tournament.
