IZOTSHA Primary’s boys and girls played soccer against Creston College last week. The U11A boys lost 3-2 and the B team drew 2-2. U11 girls drew 1-1, U13A boys won 4-0 with Lwazi Ngcobo scoring one goal and Joshua Parry three. The U13 girls drew 0-0.
Grades 4 to 7 took part in an informal ‘Cultural evening’ picnicking on blankets on the floor of the sports centre. Cultural recitals included choral verses from each class, individual poems, book character sketches and piano playing.
Gr 7 pupils took part in a natural science, technology and arts and culture integrated learning day last Friday. They were tasked with designing and constructing an eco-friendly home during the school day. Various assessment standards and criteria had to be met within the allotted time.
Foundation phase held its exciting, fun interhouse sports day last Friday.
