MARBURG Secondary recently raised a total of R15 250 which was donated to the Umbango River Conservancy.
This was raised through a series of fund-raising drives during the year. Umbango River Conservancy representative, Jaya Govender said “On behalf of the URC, I would like to express my gratitude to the principal, staff and pupils of Marburg Secondary School for this generous donation.”
Chief co-ordinator, Reena Sewpersad, was proud of the dedication and effort displayed by the staff and pupils during the fund-raising drives.
“We assure you that this money will be put to good use”, added URC representative, Sanjay Juglal.
