ACCOMPANIED by teachers, Port Shepstone Junior Primary grade R pupils enjoyed an excursion to Fiddlewood Farm in Margate on Thursday last week and learned about farm life. They especially enjoyed feeding the goats, calves, bunnies, guinea pigs and many other little animals. For many, the highlight was experiencing a pony ride. A day of fun was had by all!
Kerry Peyper and Tracy de Wet’s grade 1 classes hosted a cake sale on Wednesday, September 14 where there were lots of delicious goodies on sale. The money raised at the cake sales is spent on educational games for the enjoyment of the pupils.
PSJP hosted a grade 1, 2 and 3 interschool netball tournament, attended by Izotsha, Creston College, Southcity and Port Edward Primary last week. Not only did the children have fun, but they learned a lot and by the end of the day the coaches saw a marked improvement in the pupils’ netball skills.
