Ugu starts IDP process

The first IDP representative forum will be held in Port Shepstone in November.

UGU District Municipality has invited residents of the district with community development backgrounds to be part of the process of developing its 2017/2018 to 2021/2022 integrated development plan (IDP).

It has advertised the fact that it is embarking on the process of developing this plan, as is prescribed in the Municipal Systems Act. Ugu Municipality has also completed a process plan setting out how it will prepare and adopt the IDP Review.

The first Ugu IDP representative forum will be held at St Martin de Porres School in Port Shepstone on November 22 at 10am.

Those with community development background who wish to take part in the forum are invited to submit their applications to Nomawethu Mzindle at the Ugu Dictrict Municipal Offices at 28 Connor Street, Port Shepstone, by October 31.
