CYIASHA Moodley, a grade six pupil at Marburg Primary, took part in the International Science Fair held in Boksburg last week.
Representing the Southern KZN region, Cyiasha won a bronze medal in the category ‘Environmental Science: Changes to the Environment,’ which included sections on pollution, climate change and carbon emissions.
Her project titled ‘Water Filtration – Manual Filtration in Rural Areas’, was one of 14 projects entered in this category.
Grades six to 12 pupils from around the country as well as from overseas took part in the fair.
