Public health by-laws – your input is invited
Those interested are encouraged to make submissions.
UGU District Municipality plans to finalise its public health by-laws soon, guided by various sections within the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Those interested in making representations on the draft by-law document are invited to make their submissions.
According to Ugu, Chapters 18, 19, 20 and 21 have now been incorporated into the draft by-laws, with some being made available for public comment.
The draft by-law document is available at www.ugu.gov.za; Ugu’s Oslo Beach offices, and the Port Shepstone, Park Rynie and Harding offices.
Comment period ends on Friday, November 4. Comments can be emailed to Vella.Gramoney@ugu.gov.za or Prajesh.Ramsumugth@ugu.gov.za.
