SOUTHCITY Christian College held its annual prize-giving last Wednesday.
Byron Bennett, Tyler Robertson, Matthew Pringle, Liam Erasmus, Jaryd Robertson, Aiden Spalding, Eyethu Sililo, Lauren Malcolm, Daina Pieterse, Milisa Mahlangeni, Daniel Francesconi, Melissa Elliott, Britney Pieterse, Bubalwa Mbanjwa, Yondela Pakati and Jason Marx were selected as prefects for 2017.
Jonathan Francesconi was awarded 2016 dux and ‘Pupil of the year’ for outstanding academic achievement and exemplary sporting achievements.
Matthew Pringle, Daina Pieterse, Milisa Mahlangeni and Liam Erasmus were appointed head boy, head girl, deputy head girl and deputy head boy respectively.
The school thanks Shelly Centre for sponsoring three new trophies and prizes.
