MARGATE Primary’s gr R pupils have been extremely busy baking delicious jam tarts and practising hard for their concert called ‘Letterland’. Gr 3 pupils are rehearsing for their year-end play called ‘Wonderful Water’ and gr 7 pupils are putting together some little skits all about fairy tales for their final assessment.
Cricket matches were played against Port Edward Primary and the U11 match was abandoned because of rain, but the U13 team won their game by 58 runs. Joshua Pillay was the ‘pick of the players’ with bowling figures of 4/11 and a well-played batting total of 36 runs.
