MERLEWOOD Primary’s grades R and 1 pupils visited Riverbend Crocodile Farm. Pupils were extremely excited to interact with baby crocodiles and even though some were rather apprehensive, others put up a brave front and held the little reptiles.
They were also treated to a puppet show at the farm and enjoyed some delicious refreshments.
An appeal is made to all parents to ensure that their children attend school regularly this term since teachers will be completing the year’s work, as well as doing assessments. Final examinations will commence early in November.
