A GREAT day was had by all at the Hibberdene Academy entrepreneurs’ fun day last Saturday, which started off with the fun run through neighbouring streets. The race was won by Seth Frasca (senior boys’ division) and Vicky van Niekerk (senior girls). Grateful thanks to Luckys Manaba for sponsoring cash prizes.
The popcorn stand was one of the most popular as was the jumping castle sponsored by the parents’ committee. Thanks to Mugg and Bean for the delicious cakes which contributed to the success of the morning.
The academy’s very own deejay, Jarred Telles, kept everyone entertained and played special requests. Congratulations to all teachers and pupils who put so much effort and hard work into making the day so successful and enterprising.
Matrics are wished good luck for their final exams. Some have already completed CAT practical and will write tourism and business studies next.
