JAI HIND held a well-organised gr R concert and graduation in the Port Shepstone Secondary School hall last Saturday. A large contingent of parents and well-wishers attended the graduation ceremony to support the pupils. Poetry recitals,sketches and a modelling show had the audience cheering and clapping with encouragement.
Deputy principal of St Martin de Porres, Sudeshan Moodley was the esteemed guest speaker and he urged parents to support their children’s education and help the school improve pupils holistically. Mr Moodley presented graduates with certificates, a hamper and a book prize. Guests were treated to light refreshments. Guiathree Bridglall and the gr R committee are congratulated on a well-organised, successful event.
The new 2017 budget was adopted at the AGM held last Thursday.
