Creston surfers represent district

Maxine Bainbridge completed her junior lifeguard course.

FOUR Creston College pupils were selected to represent Ugu District at the annual SA Junior Surfing Championships held in Jeffreys Bay at the beginning of October. All four surfed really well with Jordan Boshoff going through to round three in a very tough category, not to mention his close encounter with a shark! Claire Haskins and Jenna Unsworth made it through to the quarter-finals and Jesse Powell made it through to the finals and was placed third. Maxine Bainbridge completed her junior lifeguard course.

Creston College held a sports awards dinner last Friday and pupils received accolades for rugby, soccer, swimming, athletics, netball, cricket and hockey.
