SOUTH Coast Academy’s junior section was extremely excited when they heard they would be planting trees which were generously sponsored by AfriForum.
Under the close supervision of academy owner Charles Parsons, AfriForum’s Chris Swart, Dr Mike Heaney and Wouter du Plessis, grades R to 3 classes each got a turn to plant a tree.
They listened to an informative talk about trees and the important role they play in the eco-system.
Classes have been tasked with nurturing the saplings.
