PORT Shepstone Islamic School gr 4 pupil Muhammad Saleh Zaheer Saied was placed second nationally in the AMS Arabic Olympiad that was written in October.
This was an enriching exercise for 90 pupils from grades 4 to 7 who took part. All pupils were awarded certificates.
The foundation phase academic year ended on a fun-filled note when the school’s Astro arena was transformed into a hive of activities with slides and jumping castles. Pupils enjoyed burgers and cakes and parents joined in the fun.
SGB members conducted annual interviews with staff to forge stronger relations between board and staff. The school extends best wishes to the matric pupils of 2016 as they leave school and venture forth into a new future.
