Local auditions for Durban's Mzanzi Arts performances are coming up soon.
LOCAL models, dancers, singers, actors, musicians, fashion designers and filmmakers are invited to audition for the forthcoming Mzanzi Arts, a showcase of KwaZulu-Natal talent that takes place at the Playhouse Theatre in Durban, from June 9 to 11.
Open auditions for this programme will be held at Desroches Hotel in Margate, on January 28. Registration is at 2pm.
Mzansi Arts provides performing and visual artists the opportunity to show off their talents and to meet and network with national and international scouts in a safe and controlled environment.
Talent scouts can also identify performers with the potential to benefit from further investment and development by industry professionals.
Attending the event will be representatives from educational establishments, radio and television decision makers, modelling agents, casting agents, record label representatives, managers, producers and other members of the performing and visual arts industry.
