Newly promoted Ugu District police officers wished well

They were encouraged to lead by example and take ownership of their environment.

Acting District Commissioner Brigadier Anton Kapp addressed 16 newly promoted Ugu District police officers on October 16. They were congratulated on their well-deserved promotions.

Kapp stressed the importance of them leading by example and taking ownership of their environments. He emphasised that they should not be the problem, but the solution.

The Acting Provincial Commissioner, Major General Phumelele Makoba, conferred the new ranks on all promoted members in the province at a ceremony at The Jewish Hall, North Beach in Durban on October 13.
