Rudi is at the head of the Table

The club was delighted to induct and welcome a new chairman.

TABLERS donned their tuxedos, while their wives took full advantage of the opportunity to step out in style in evening dress at the Port Shepstone Round Table’s induction dinner at Umthunzi Hotel and Conference last Friday.

Outgoing chairman Leon Garbade delivered his report, outlining the charity work the Tablers and their wives had carried out during the year. In his address, he wished new chairman, Rudi Prinsloo all the best for the coming year.

Rudi  has been part of Round Table for the last three years. “When I joined this organisation, my dad told me that I had made a good decision and that every young man should belong to some sort of service club and give back to the community,” he said.

“This club teaches you business, communication and financial skills and makes a family out of friends, all while we serve and make an impact on the community. We have a lot of ‘new blood’ here tonight dedicated to serving their community and I will let them do so by leading the way.”

He announced his council for 2016-2017,  which includes Charl van Loggerenberg (international relations and public relations officer, as well as community services), Jason Lucey (secretary), Jaco Steyn (treasurer) and Lourens Kruger (vice chairman).

The club thanked all those who attended the dinner, as well as those who had supported the club in whatever way during the past year.
