Tourism looks ahead

UGU South Coast Tourism invites its members to a strategic session as part of its planning for the next five years.

This will take place at Desroches Hotel in Margate on February 14, from 9am to noon. Registration is from 8.30am, when tea will be served.

Members will be able to talk to Ugu South Coast Tourism’s board and management team about the proposed tourism strategy for 2017 until 2021.

Regarding this workshop, Tourism’s chief executive Justin Mackrory said it would result in a strategy that would take into consideration the needs of everyone involved in the industry in this area.

Tourism would also engage with outsiders to ensure its five-year strategy would reflect the best elements of the private-public relationship that its management model embraced.

Tourism association members who wish to attend the strategy session should contact pa@tourismsouthcoast.co.za by February 10.
