Rabies: This is where to get your pets vaccinated

All pet owners are encouraged to make use of this free service.

FEBRUARY is rabies month on the Hibiscus Coast and the Department of Agriculture and rural Development kicked off its 2017 rabies programme this week:

Pet owners are urged to bring their animals to receive their free anti-rabies vaccinations at the various rabies clinics that will be held this month.

They will be as follows:

Tuesday, February 7 – Glenmore supermarket from 8.30am to 1030am; Munster Protection Services from 11am to 12.30pm; Greenhart Supermarket from 1.30pm to 3pm.

Wednesday February 8 – Seventh Heaven Superette, Trafalgar, from 8.30am to 10am, Marina Beach Library from 10.30am to 12.30pm, Mpenjati Town Board Offices from 1.30pm to 2pm.

Thursday, February 9 – Ramsgate Beach parking from 8.30am to noon; Mzimela Centre, Margate Extention three from 1pm to 2.30pm.

Friday, February 10 – Margate Hibiscus Mall from 8.30am to noon; New Life Ministries from 1pm to 3pm.

Monday, February 13 – Uvongo Civic Centre from 8.30am to 11.30am; Shelly Beach Library and Clinic from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.

Tuesday, February 14 – The old state veterinarian office in Oslo Beach from 8.30am to 11.30am; Port Shepstone Borough Grounds from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.

Wednesday, February 15 – Albersville White City Hall from 8.30am to 11.30pm; Woodpecker cul-de-sac from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.

Thursday, February 16 – Singh’s Store, Lions Grove, from 8.30am to 11.30am; Solly Store, Lions Grove from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.

Friday, February 17 – Marburg Library from 8.30am to noon; Merlewood Municipal Office from 1pm to 2pm.

Monday, February 20 – Southport Beach Parking Area from 8.30am to noon.

Tuesday, February 21 – Hibberdene Library from 8.30am to noon.

Wednesday, February 22 – Umtentweni Town Hall from 8.30am to noon; Alfred Evans Hall, Sea Park from 1pm to 3pm.

Thursday, February 23 – Melville beach parking from 8.30m to 10am; Umzumbe Moth Hall from 10.30am to noon; Mthwalume Post Office from 1pm to 3pm.
