CRESTON’S senior primary pupils have been very busy with science experiments. Gr 7 pupils spent the week researching snails and were delighted to be able to use one of the many giant African snails on the school grounds to study their scientific classification and structure.
Gr 4 pupils studied plants, focusing on the structure and purpose of roots.
Gr 6 pupil Gregory Botha now holds the IGFA (International Game Fish Association) junior world record for dogtooth tuna, by landing a 48kg specimen in Reunion Island during a family holiday in January. An exemplary achievement for Greg.
