PORT Shepstone Islamic School pupils collected in excess of 1 000 cans and non–perishable food items as part of their outreach and social responsibility campaign.
Each pupil was given a goodie bag at the end of this function.
The school extends heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed to the success of this worthy campaign.
The school hosted journalist Azhar Vadi from ‘Salaamedia’ last Saturday morning.

Mr Vadi is cycling from Beit Bridge to Cape Town ‘Riding4SAEducation’ in aid of charity and was escorted into Port Shepstone by a number of cyclists.
Mr Vadi and guests were treated to a hearty breakfast at the school hall where he shared his experiences and objectives of the campaign.
His mission to assist underprivileged children in rural areas echoes the passion of the school which regularly undertakes social responsibility projects to bring cheer to those in need.
