Jai Hind Primary bids a sad farewell to teacher Rajen

Mr Mahabeer is sincerely thanked for his services over the past 22 years.

JAI Hind is very sad to see Rajen Mahabeer leave.

His teaching career started at Willowgrove Secondary in Port Elizabeth until he transferred to Gokul Primary in Isipingo, Durban.

He later taught at Louisiana Primary and RA Engar until joining Jai Hind in 1995.

Mr Mahabeer is sincerely thanked for his services over the past 22 years and is wished everything of the best in his retirement.

His commitment and dedication to the teaching profession is greatly appreciated.

He will always be remembered for his involvement in feeding schemes for the underprivileged and in that vein, he generously provided the entire school with a plate of delicious breyani.

The U11 and U13 teams took part in the first schools’ volleyball knockout tournament at the Marburg Sports Complex last Saturday.

All teams performed well and narrowly lost in the semi-final stages.

The players are commended for displaying outstanding skills on the courts.
