IN celebration of International Women’s Week, Surfing South Africa held three 1A rated SA Surf Tour contests for girls.

Creston College grade 8 pupil, Jesse Powell posted one of the highest scoring waves of the day and won the under 14 title and grade 5 pupil, Kira Attfield, took second place.

At the SANESA horse riding competition on March 11 and 12, Creston pupils and their horses scored as follows:

Gr 3 pupil, Georgia MacLeod scored the following on her horse Harry Potter: Dressage (test 1) – second, Dressage (test 2) – first. Jumping Ideal Time – first.

Working rider. third and first in Equitation, Grade 4 pupil, Paige Robertson was placed in Dressage (test 1); Dressage (test 2), Working rider and Equitation on her horse #Tag.

Grade 7 pupils are invited to write the Creston gr 8 entrance tests for 2018 on Friday, March 24 and are asked to report to the marketing office at 1.45pm as the exams start at 2pm. Attendance should be confirmed with Lynne Harley at 0396855562.
