Fishing boat capsizes off Port Edward – two men slightly injured

Only the skipper and one crewman suffered any sort of injury, and did not require medical attention.

A BOAT with five local men aboard capsized in the surf-line at Port Edward last Friday.

NSRI Port Edward duty crew responded immediately, following eye-witness reports.

Alan Stilwell, NSRI Port Edward duty controller, said it appeared that the boat, the ‘AquaVida’, was launched to go fishing when it overturned.
