Braai thieves ‘burned’ by alert Port Shepstone K9 officers

Investigations will reveal whether these 'braai masters' can be linked to other housebreaking cases.

BEFORE  a Tweni resident even realised her gas braai was gone,two men aged 21 and 22, were arrested by the Port Shepstone K9 unit on Wednesday morning this week.

Sergeant Mark Banjo, Sergeant Des Theunissen and Constable Innocent Nhlumayo were on their way to work at 5.30am when they saw two suspicious-looking men carrying a gas braai across the R102 near the Port Shepstone Country Club.
