CRESTON’s Grade 4s have been learning about Nelson Mandela in history and have decided that they would like to take part in Mandela Day which is celebrated in July.
They made sandwiches in class which were distributed to local schools through the “Bread of Heaven” initiative.
Racing bike ace, Grade 7 pupil, Nicholas de Bruin competed in the Eliminator Series and was placed first in the U14 division.

Everyone is invited to the marimba fundraising concert in the school hall on Wednesday, July 28, starting at 6pm. Tickets are available at the school office and will also be sold at the door.
Creston College will be fundraising at the annual Soapbox Festival of Speed which takes place at the Dezzi Raceway this Sunday, July 2. The school will be responsible for providing all the food and beverages at the event, which also offers pupils an opportunity to build “boxcarts” and race them on the day.
The annual Spring Family Golf Day will take place at Port Shepstone Country Club on September 2.
