Couple attacked and robbed at St Mike’s home
The intruders were armed with a knife.
A COUPLE was attacked inside their home in Orange Rocks, St Michael’s last Thursday at about 6.45am.
They were on the verandah when the man heard a noise. He went to investigate and found two men inside the house.
Police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said the intruders confronted him, threatened him with a knife and forced him outside to join his wife.

“The couple was then taken to a room by the intruders, who threatened them before ransacking the house,” she added.
The two men fled after stealing jewellery, three cellphones and cash.
It was later established that they had gained entry through a back window.
No arrests have been made as yet.
