THREE men wanted in connection with the assault of a 27-year-old Magabeni man are a priority on the list of arrests to be made by the Umkomaas SAPS.
The man had been walking near the sports grounds in Magabeni on last Saturday when he was approached by three men, one of whom was armed.

In what appears possibly to be a xenophobia-related case, the man was asked why he was ‘stealing’ grass cutting jobs.
He was assaulted by the trio and attempted to flee but was ordered not to do so.
He was again assaulted and again attempted to flee.

The man claims that when he finally managed to escape and run away, one of his assailants shot at him.
A case of attempted murder has been registered for investigation.
