A MAN died after he was stabbed in Hibberdene at around lunchtime today (Monday, July 17).

Police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said the elderly man and his wife were sitting at the beach when a man snatched their bag and ran off.
“The victim used his cell phone to try and call for help. The suspect then re-appeared and stabbed the man in the neck before making off with his cell phone,” she said.
