BREAKING into a Bermuda Way, Scottburgh residence during the early hours of Sunday morning, July 23, a group of criminals made off with various items including three vehicles.
It was established that the group had gained entry to the property after forcing open a sliding door.
While inside the property, the burglars helped themselves to vehicle keys, a wallet, purse, a Garmin GPS, television, kettle and shoes. Scottburgh SAPS have time and time again warned that vehicle keys should be safely stored away where criminals cannot gain access to them.

The burglars fled the scene in the stolen vehicles – silver VW Polo, silver-grey Jaguar and a blue Toyota Yaris – one of which was tracked to and recovered in Isipingo later that same day.
A case of housebreaking and theft has been registered for investigation by the Scottburgh SAPS. No arrests have been made as yet.
