AS South Africans commemorate Women’s Month, an Izingolweni woman endured a horrific ordeal last week when she was stabbed and raped – twice – at Godloza ward in Izingolweni.

“The woman was on her way to a friend’s house when she was confronted by a man who tried to force her to accompany him to his house,” said police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka,
“When she refused, the man stabbed her three times in the chest before taking her to an open field and raping her twice.”
He then fled.
No arrests have yet been made.
