Planned power outage in Port Shepstone – where and when
All installations are to be treated as live during the shut-down.
MAINTENANCE work to the memorial switching station will leave sections of Port Shepstone without power for most of the day this Sunday, August 13.

According to a notice from Ray Nkonyeni Municipality, the following areas will be affected:
- Jan Smuts Avenue
- Berea Road
- Sugar Mill Road
- Newtown
- Port Shepstone CBD
- Port Shepstone beachfront
- Albersville
The power is expected to be out between 7.30am and 5pm, but all installations are to be treated as live during this time.
The alternative shut-down date given is Sunday, August 20.
