IMPORTANT NOTICE: 24 Hour water shutdown planned for these areas

Ugu District Municipality will provide relief supply via water tankers and static tanks.

CONSUMERS are please urged to take note that the following areas will be without water for 24 hours this Wednesday and Thursday, August 23 and 24 from 7am to 7pm:

  • Port Edward to Southbroom
  • KwaNzimakwe
  • Braemar
  • KwaXolo
  • Ezingolweni
  • KwaShoba

The shutdown is due to the upgrading of the Umtamvuna Water Treatment Works from 20ML/day to 30 ML/day, and ultimately to 40ML/day.
