
BRAZEN thieves walked into the police station and stole a police officer’s car parked at the Port Shepstone SAPS on Tuesday this week.
Now police are investigating a theft of motor vehicle, which occurred right under their noses. Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid confirmed that the vehicle did indeed belong to a police officer and that the vehicle was taken from the police premises at around midday on Tuesday this week.

“The officer had parked her vehicle at the back of the station when she reported for duty in the morning. When she returned later she discovered that her car had been stolen,” said Lt-Col Wiid. The car keys, which were kept in her locked office, were also gone.
The case is being investigated. No arrests have yet been made.
