Customers are urged to store enough water for use during this period.

UGU District Municipality has warned consumers that there will be a planned shutdown of the Bhobhoyi water works  tomorrow, Tuesday, September 5, from 8am to 2pm.

The municipality says the shutdown is due to the installation of a 450mm diametre pipeline to connect the reservoir outlet pipe to the new treated water pump station suction pipleline.

Affected areas: Hibberdene to Ramsgate, inland areas including Gamalakhe, Murchison, Bhobhoyi and the greater Nyandezulu areas.

Customers are urged to store enough water for use during this period.
