A 29-year-old man was found dead near a tavern in Gamalakhe in the early hours of Saturday morning, police reported.
The man was taken by members of the community to a nearby house in an attempt to help him.

Police spokesman Captain Gerald Mfeka said when the police arrived, the man was already dead.
“A post-mortem examination will determine the cause of death. Detectives from Gamalakhe police station are investigating a case of murder,” said Captain Mfeka.
