Many calls have been made to eThekwini Department of Water and Sanitation, which informed callers time and time again that the matter would be dealt with within 24 to 48 hours.

The spillage has now got worse and is not only an issue near private properties and on the road, but has trickled down to Umkomaas beach and has started flowing onto the sand.
